Welcome to "Less is More".
I have just had a quick look at your blog to see that this type of card is a far cry from your favoured style of cardmaking. It must feel rather scary to have so little on your card, but you've got it exactly right!
The only way that I could see a chance for refinement would be to put either the sentiment or the image absolutely central... neither one is quite there at the moment.

Your card is super, specially as it;s out of your comfort zone. I think the tree could have come over a tidge, the sentiment seems to lend itself really well to the shape of teh tree so over slightly ay have worked
