Good evening everyone, hope you are all keeping well.
Now you are probably wondering why have I put a Bisto granule container on here !!!!
Well I will tell you, last week when I had emptied the container and I was about to throw it away a thought came into my mind it would make a great pot for either pens/pencils or makeup brushes. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave it a go, talk about brain going into overdrive, it would not stop lol.
It took me ages to find some papers to use and then decide on what and how I was going to place the flowers and bits and bobs. In the end I gavethe pot to my Avon lady Sonia as she has been ill and upset over her wedding plans ( re - family) don`t you just love them.
So here you go....... this is what I came up with.......
I painted the inside and the rim with Copper metallic paint from Crawford & Black.
The papers came from MCS and with the back paper I used the tip from Ali Reeve using string round an acrylic block and inked with memento to look like writing.
The basket weave paper I distressed round the top edge with a craft knife then used Color Box ink, then folded back the top edges.
I used red adhesive tape at the top and attached Pearl string from Creative Expressions. Ribbon and lace is from my stash.
I die cut some leaves and fern and the flowers came from Cuddly Buddly and from stash. Before I stuck the flowers on with Pinflair silicone, I placed them where I wanted to make sure they looked right.
I would like to enter this into.
