Showcase 4..........

Hello  ladies, Here we are again. This week the girls have had a play with my bird digi and yes they have amazed me again with their wonderful cards.

This one took me quite a while as I have never coloured birds in before and wanted to do something a little different.
I printed the image onto Neenah Solar white card and coloured with promarkers Pastel Beige, Cool Grey 2,  Cool Grey 1, Cool Grey 3, \morning Mist, Deim Blue, Cyan, Royal Blue, TAn, Cool Grey 4 and gold. I punched some leaves and flowers and attached to branches. Layered this onto dark blue card then onto the light blue punched the bottom with Martha Stewart punch and added ribbon sentiment came from stash, all elements attched to 5 x 5 white card.

Here is the card that I made with a digi ( Little Red) from LEJ Designs available here.

I used a 5x7 card, the backing came from the web and the window frame is from MCS. I added a contrasting ribbon to the top along with 2 cocktail sticks with beads on the ends,  used ribbon to make the curtains. I printed Little Red out and coloured with Promarkers Pastel blue, Poppy, Burnt Orange, Tan, Gold, Ivory, Dusky Pink, Buttercup and Daffodil. I then cut out the image and placed her behind the window frame.

Westie and Mask........

What a wonderful start to the day the sun is shining, clear blue skies and crafting, we could not ask for more..... well we could but this is fine for me today. I spent most of yesterday doing the dreaded housework and ironing and got told off by SuzeJo lol. Talk about being shattered by the time I had finished so what better way to unwind was for me to sit down with a cuppa, home made cake and draw and this is what I have come up with. Not one but two for your delectation, ohhh I do love that word lol. Well enough of me waffling here they are........ I simply adore Westies so just had to do this one.

For my second one I decided to do something completely different.

Showcase 3..... Daisies

Is  it really week 3 already, where does the time go. I am delighted to say I have a guest DT this week, you may all possibly know her......... Our very own Linda Simpson who very kindly accepted to showcase one of my digi`s, and hopefully I shall be having a different guest DT for the next few weeks. For this card I used a 5x7 white card. I layered the card with purple card from stash the lace backing paper came from MCS. The image is my own and coloured with Promarkers. Leaf Green, Oatmeal, Gold, Bluebell, Orchid, Cool Grey 3, Soft Green, Fresh Meadow, Pine, Ivory. This was then cut out and attached to purple card of which the corners were punched with a  XCut corner punch, gems and ribbon from stash were added.

My DT Card for.............

I cannot believe we are onto Challenge 4 already and this week it is........

 Anything But a Card

 at LEJ Design Challenge Blog, hop on over and have a go and see what all the Design Team have come up with. This one got my brain working as I only ever make cards. First of all though let me show you what you can win....... 3 prizes this week :O)

Now onto my creation..

I have used it as either a door hanger or placed onto a plain coloured wall as decoration (see below).The image is from LEJ Designs.
 The surround was made in MCS and the oval cut out. The image was coloured with promarkers Ivory, Satin, Pink Carnation, Budding Rose, March hare, Tan, also added peewee glitter to the wings. I then cut the image out and attached to the frame, then added the single rose to the hand, bow at the top and 3 roses from stash in the corner

Bridesmaid..........

I spent yesterday drawing again even though I should be doing my card for the showcase on Wednesday, well there`s always tomorrow :O). This was supposed to be full length but realised to late I had started to far down on my pad andI did not want to start all over again. I think I need to practice my faces a bit more so not sure whether to put this up as a digi. I am sure you will all be honest with me and thats how I like it :O).

Lighthouse.......

Well here we are again another weekend upon us, where does the time goes!!!!!!!.I decided to have a break from making cards this morning and have sat and done another drawing. It was suggested that after I drew the beach huts I should do a Lighthouse so here it is........

The image is called Time Stealing Pixies from LEJ which you can obtain from here

I printed the image twice and coloured with Promarkers, Tan, Denim Blue, Pastel Blue, Bluebell, Soft Green, Orchid, Coral, Grass, fresh Meadow, Ivory, Cinnamon, Shale. The silver frame and hands were coloured with Sakura. The images were then cut out and decoupaged. The backing papers and sentiment were made in MCS and finally brads were added down the side. All elements were added to a 5x7 card.

Summer is coming...........

Where has the week gone!!!!!, I have obviously been enjoying myself  to much and thats why its gone in a flash. What with the showcase taking off , Thank you all for your lovely comments I do appreciate them and I am sure the girls do too,you have made  me very proud :O). I have been trying to do some more drawings as well, but the dreaded H.......K keeps getting in the way ( please Suze not the sin bin again lol). So today I thought I am not going to let this one beat me, it`s taken me most of the day and have finally managed to finish it. phew........ Do you want to see it??????  Oh go on then.................

I wanted to do the beach huts a bit different from what I have seen and came  up with this.
