Daffodil Showcase.....

I know it`s a bit late in the year for daffs but what the heck lol. Unfortunately I  am having printer problems at the moment so I was unable to print off my digi and I have had to resort to showing a card I did a few months back,  which you might have seen already (sorry). Once hubby has mended the printer I shall ensure that I will make a new and fresh card. Would any of you ladies like to be a guest DT for my Westie or mask digi`s, ( you can see them in my digi shop) if so leave a comment to say you would and I will contact you

Good morning all, it`s a bit grey here this morning and I have to shortly go to the city to pick up my new glasses. Hope it does not rain, but at least the temperature has gone down phew.

Here is my card, I have never made a vintage card before so this was all new to me and had to call on the lovely Lindsay for inspiration and she has certainly got that.

The small embellie was a free image from the web

The backing paper and lace is all one layer.

The main shape was printed and cut out and the image coloured with Promarkers.

Dolphins........

Good afternoon to you all. It`s a beautiful day here so I went for a lovely walk to Dunelms had a nosy around bought one or two bits and bobs and a leisurely walk back.

Yesterday one of my friends on facebook takes such wonderful photo`s, I just had to ask if I could use his latest photograph to make a card with and he very kindly gave me permission yeahhh. Meanwhile in the afternoon I decided to do another drawing for a digi. So here they are..............

Hello ladies, Don`t know about you but the weather here is a bit mixed today cloudy then sun and back to cloud again but at least it is warm and my washing is drying unlike yesterday when we had a  massive storm and everything got more wetter than I put it out lol. My card today is a very simple one...... so here it is.

Emma`s Crafty Challenge

Need to lose Weight !!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everybody and  welcome to my new followers.. Thank you.

Hubby and I have decided that we need to lose weight (especially hubby lol ) I have felt very uncomfortable in myself over the last few weeks, and only being 5ft 3 and now weighing 11st ( 154lbs) arghhhh (scream out loud), enough was enough, so when Mick came across the app above for the Iphone and website, we decided to give it ago.

We only started friday evening, out went the choccies and in came more fresh fruit and veg and smaller portions. Luckily we have a static bike which I must admit was covered with a fine layer of dust lol. That is now been dusted off and we are now on this regular, Mick is still on 10 mins twice a day and myself too, but today have upped my goal for 20 mins twice a day for the next few days. When I weighed myself this morning I had lost a 1lb. It may be a small amount but I am chuffed. I have added my weight lose app above so it can remind me if I am sitting here for too long lol and also you lovely peeps can see how I am doing :O)).  Wish us luck please.

Rose.. Showcase 13..

Good morning to you all. Woke up this morning with the sun shining yeah, but as I speak the clouds are slowly rolling in again possible showers later so they tell us as if we did not have enough of the wet stuff yesterday. Anyways I had better show you what the girls have been up to this week.

This week my guest DT is the very talented Carol Dunham I always look forward to seeing what she has created. My brain had a shut down moment the other day and could not find Carol`s card, panic set in so I contacted her and lo and behold she so kindly sent me the card again thank you.... what a fool I felt when going through my folders afterwards and  found the card in the wrong place, apologies sent to Carol for my error :O(.  (note to self must do better lol).

 Pale yellow 6 x 6 scalloped card, I took my Rose digi into MCS and placed onto the nesting shape 3 times and coloured with Promarkers, embossed the corners, doily, gems and roses  from stash.
