Monochrome....

Good evening to all my lovely followers and hello and welcome to Lavinia, I hope you have all had a great day crafting.
What a day it has been here very grey and chilly for most of the day so what better way to spend the time making a card with the Indigo Blue free stamps from Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine they are lush, and in between I had to do the mundane job of H.......k.
For this I just had to do a monochrome card as it was just perfect for the stamp I used.

1. 7x7 white card.
2. Indigo Blue stamps
3. stamped image with Versamark then heat embossed with Heat it Up Black Sparkle, layered it onto black card then white card and once more onto black.
4. Stamped border strip with flourish from same stamp set in Memento Ink.
5. Diecut the flower with Britannia medium flower die
6. Added ribbon and jem from stash

Where has the time gone.........

I cannot believe that I have not blogged since February ooops. I think my mojo went on a world cruise with a slow boat to China, luckily I had made my granddaughters card before it went awol. I even tried looking at Pinterest for ideas and inspiration but my brain just did not want to know.
Thank goodness it came back as it is my great granddaughters 1st birthday on the 8th May, time goes by so quick. I had seen some onesie cards on Pinterest and thought I would have a go and make a template for one. I must admit I am quite pleased with my first attempt. Firstly I will show you the card I made for my granddaughter who loves anything purple.
I made the card shape with my own template on a 8x8 card.

These would make fab invites for a baby shower if made smaller.

I am sorry I have not been on all your blogs of late but I needed time away. I shall do my very best to visit and leave comments for you all.
