Butterfly..... Showcase 9

Good morning everybody and welcome to all my new followers. I would never have believed I would have the lovely total of 245 Thank you I must be doing something right lol. It`s very wet and grey here so I know what I will be doing :O). 

Before I get onto my Showcase for this week. I am having a DT call for 2 new members to join my wonderful girls if you are interested in joining us leave a comment and I will get hubby to draw the names out of a hat, I can also announce that the lovely Marie-Celine Crafting Owl will be joining us next week.

For this I used a 5 x 5 white card, I  printed the orange nesting shape from MCS and stamped and embossed with Enchanted Gold. The next layer I  dry embossed  white card and used a Martha Stewart punch. The butterfly was printed onto white card several times and after a few mishaps I decided to get my PeeWee glitters out that had not seen the light of day for a few years, Once glittered and dry, I cut the butterfly out and attached pearl gems from stash. I hope you like it, I`m not to sure about it!!!!    I hope you will visit the girls blogs and leave them well deserved comments as they have done me proud.
The variations  on one butterfly  image is amazing.

Butterfly........

Hello my friends,  It`s very damp and chilly here so I hope it is better for you wherever you are ;o). While I was cleaning my craftroom last week I came across a box with a load of Making Cards magazines which I had completely forgotten about,  I just had to investigate whether I wanted to keep them, well I could not believe that I had not used them earlier and a few I could not even remember looking at DOH. When I came across these craft papers and vellums I just had to use them. The magazine was dated 2008, and the idea for the card came from another MC Mag.

I inked the edges of the bitterfly paper with pink petunia, folded the flower paper to create a frame inked with pixie dust tothe bits that were showing white added card candy,  gems,  and sentiment. Cit the butterfly out 3 times the top one is vellum and hey presto.
