I am a Great Grandmother......

I am sorry that I have not been about at all in the last week, it has been a joyful and a tearful (well a lot really) time. Thank you to one very special person ( Lindsay) for letting me get my concerns of my chest.

 

As you have seen by the title I became a great Grandma last Wednesday as my granddaughter was rushed into hospital on the Tueday as she was having breathing problems. Thats another story which I really do not want to go into. The out come was she was induced on Weds morning and at 12:54pm my beautiful great granddaughter Isabella Vivian was born weighing 4lb 8oz and 6 weeks early, she was put into an incubator to start with, as my DIL says she has now been hatched and now into a cot lol..

 

Unfortunately my granddaughter was taken ill again afterwards and at present she has been sedated and being treated, again I do not want to go into details of the reasons. As you can imagine we are all very concerned for her and hoping that she gets well very soon.

I cannot wait to give her the cards and here they are.

This one is for my Great Granddaughter welcoming her to our world

The papers and image came from Jems Design CD Peek a Boo.

I added the text from MCS.

Of course for this I had to use my own digi Crib.

I really do not do girly girly cards so found this quite hard.

 

Lastly the other week Lindsay made a keepsake box for a baby boy and I said if it was for a girl I would have bought it, well Lindsay pulled out all the stops and made me one and it is worth every penny. Thank you so much.

I`ve not had much time to craft this week, so by Friday I just had to make this card with a mask and stamps that I bought weeks ago. So here it is..........

I must admit the inspiration for this came from Doreen O`Brien, her cards are amazing. I hope I have not let you down Doreen.

White on White..........

I cannot believe it is Saturday evening already, I`ve had a busy week what with decorating the hallway and making my FIL`s birthday card.

 

I wanted to have ago at doing a white on white card and I needed inspiration soI just typed in white on white cards and of course it bought Pinterest up, so after browsing for a while and found some amazing cards, I took a giant leap and joined, still trying to get my head around it lol so I may be asking for help :) as I have tried to upload some of my cards from my blog and they don`t seem to come up to pin them for some reason....... any help would be appreciated.

Thank you to a few of my lovely followers on here and FB who have followed me on there too.

Right that`s enough waffling from me. First card is my white on white and the second one is my FIL`s birthday card, I hope you like them.

Oooh it`s nice to see the sun.....

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

We have had beautiful sunshine all day.

 

For the last few days I have been playing with my new CD`s from Jems Designs and I have to say the images are fabulous, it was difficult to decide which one to use first.

This one is from the Swan`s Song CD and it is very dreamy.  I did not want to over power the image with to many embellishments........

Owl

Well here we are Wednesday already, where does the time go. I woke up this morning and realised it was Showcase Day and I had not even made a card, norty me. So as soon as hubby left I was in the craft room beavering away and I apologise now for the poor colouring ( not my best ).

Flower Corner.......

Good Morning to you all.  Hope you had a lovely Easter and not to many choccies.

 

 I just do not know where this weekend has gone, so much to do and not enough time, and I completely forgot I had a showcase this week. Where is my card I hear you all saying..... well it is still in my head. I was going to spend the day (Tuesday) making it when hubby ( he`s at home all week) decided we should decorate the living room, so off we went to get the paint, finally got home about lunch time and have been decorating ever since. So consequently no card from me SORRY.

 

But I can say that my wonderful Design Team and my Guest DT have come up trumps yet again.

Wish Upon a Rose.....

Good morning to all my lovely followers and visitors. Luckily we have not had the awful snow that some of you have got, but it`s very cold and windy, how lucky we are I hear you all say lol. It should be with us tonight argh no like.

 

I had the pleasure of buying 3 cd`s from Jem`s Designs and I was amazed at all the wonderful images that are on them. I have A Swan`s Song, Wish Upon a Rose and their very new one Yesterday`s Dreams Gentleman`s Edition.

Moving House...

Good morning everyone. The weather is damp and miserable here today, Apologies for not being about lately but its been a bit hectic and have had a rotten cold where I have not wanted to do too much, thankfully it has now gone. In fact I nearly forgot that I had a showcase today, so here I am at 7.30 in the morning getting it ready. 

This week it is New Home and I had great fun making this one, well after a while as a couple got thrown in the bin as they just did not look right. Right thats enough of me waffling on.

Oooh just realised my background is missing come on blogger what`s up this time!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterdays Dreams....

I just cannot believe it`s friday already and I have made 3 cards this week with another laying on my desk waiting for me to plan and make, I think my mojo has gone into overdrive.

The image for this card was sent to me by the lovely and very talented Sheenagh Hulin.

 

When I first saw the image, I had no idea what to do with it, so I had to bite the bullet and see what I could do. It has taken me nearly 2 days to come up with this as I kept changing my mind. At first I was not happy but the girls from Jem`s Designs facebook page have given me such lovely comments, I had to put it on my blog. Hope you like it. The image is from Jem`s Designs Yesterday Dreams.

Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish.

I printed the centre image twice so I could decoupage and glossy accent the centre picture, the ribbon was white so coloured with promarkers and flowers from stash.
