Challenge was use a Letter.....

We had to make anything as long it used a letter. This one really did send my brain into overload but whatever I came up with it did not look right. Originally I made a card using the letter R for roses but not really happy with it so that is why it is not on here....... yet!!!!!!!.  I finally decided to make a bookmark and used the letter E for Emma and as Emma loves reading this is what I came up with for her, I could possibly do a few more now to make them personal to other friends.
I got the bookmark from
Joanna Sheens Royal Horticutural Society CD
Set of alphabets were a gift

Just a simple card.....

I had a mad moment on Wednesday to try and get some order into my stamps when I came across a set I had not used since buying them, well that got the brain working overtimeso all the other stamps were left lying on the floor until I came up with a card and here it is :O).

I used the following
 Kanban Garden Vistas set
various gems
free backing paper from Papercraft Inspirations
ColorBox Inks
black Memento
Gold peeloff
Square card

Christmas Cross

Mick asked if I could make a card to be placed on his mothers grave over the christmas period. This is what I came up with
Basic Cream card used. The cross was stamped using a bauble from
 See-D`s Vintage Christmas.
The Holly and Sentiment stamp are wooden cannot remember where they came from, everything was stamped straight onto the card with
Black Memento Ink

Poinsetta

This is one of my favourite stamps so it has to come out of hibernation every year.

Basic square card stamped with small poinsetta by Creative Expressions
embossed with silver from Debbie Moore
Main image is again from Creative Expressions
stamped 4 times once onto green card and 3 onto red embossed with silver then cut out and layered.

Had a fabulous day......

As you may have seen by the post below I went to see All the Fun of the Fair today and it was brilliant. We thought we would be late for the start as we could not find a parking place in the City and by this time it was 14:05 and the show starts at 14:30. We ended up having to park quite far away so it was a quick scramble to walk/run and of course fool that I am I just happen to have a new pair of shoes on so feet (doh) were quite sore by the time we got there with only 5 mins to spare to be seated and boy was it hot in there.
David was fabulous as always, as were the cast and WOW what an ending to the show it was outstanding, shame it is the last night tonight before they move on otherwise I would be there again. As we were walking out of the theatre I realised my feet had swelled a bit with the heat inside so my shoes were very tight and very painful. So it was a case of a very slow walk back to the car.
On the way we decided to get some chips as we were both hungry, it took me back a few years to be walking through the streets of Norwich with a tray of chips in my hand (memories) lol,boy they were goodand they made me forget the  pain of my shoes, well we got back to the car Phew, arrived back at home and my shoes slipped partly off my feet and when I tried to get out of the card they slipped off completely and when I looked down 2 massive blisters on my heels one had burst (yuck), ended up hobbling to the front door, such bliss to be able to get my shoes off once indoors.
All I can say is.... the blisters were worth getting for such a WONDERFUL show.

Well I have finally done it........

Made my 1st card in over 4 months. Mick asked me to make a card for his boss as she is ill and she just loves bird watching, so this is my card for her....

I used an A4 card to enable all the staff to sign it. Images came from Feathered Friends by Peerless Designs and sentiment was done in My Craft Studio with backing paper from the above CD.

Completely lost my Mojo......

As you can see from above my creativity for card making went out of the window for the last few months, so I took a step back from my blog, card making and DC and went down another path and did a bit of cross stitch and other things. Now I have just got back from 2 wonderful weeks on Menorca wow what wonderful weather and such a relaxing time we had, must admit we did not want to come home, ohhh to win the lottery and move there such a beautiful island.
My first picture is of the cross stitch I finished about 3 weeks ago and have already started another.
Then I just have to share with you a couple of my pictures from our holiday I hope you like them
