Flowers and animals..........

Sorry I have not been about for the last couple of days as my hubby bought me a new computer as a surprise for my  birthday it is specially designed for me :O) it has a higher spec and  fabulous graphics for my crafty needs, all I have to do now is find where he has saved everything and to upload my cd`s and away I go :O)). Unfortunately he has had to do it in the evenings so while I waited without it I took tijme and have drawn 2 new images. The first one is again of flowers, I have not coloured this one yet it is in the raw state of just being scanned in... so here it is.....

I copied this from a picture that I fell in love with, mind you it took me about 3/4times before I was totally happy with it.

My 2nd drawing is an animal my first ever so please  be kind lol, I am not sure if I like it even though it is of my favourite animal in the world

Please give me your honest opinions, and any suggestions of where I might have gone wrong.

Daisy..........

Hello my friends, Yeahh it`s my birthday today and what a great way to spend it, colouring in my  brand new drawing which I did yesterday and it`s all down to you girls after I had such a tremendous response to my 1st one and being told to pick up my pencils again ( THANK YOU) so this is what I have come up with, yes I still need a lot of practise colouring in but only have a limited amount of promarkers so have tried my best with what I have got. I hope you like it.......

Your honest opinion again please girls. Right I am off to get my pencils out again.

Hibiscus........

Hello girls I hope you have had a good week :O). Not good for me as my mojo has gone walkabout so if you see it please send it home.     Last week Lindsay put a card on her blog  which she made from her own drawing and it inspired me to get my pencils out and have ago as I have not done any drawing for about 10 years so thank you Lindsay for opening my mind for art again.  I did with the great help of Lindsay try and turn it into a digi image but I am such a techno numpty and just could not get my head round it.

I scanned my drawing in then resized and printed out and coloured in with promarkers... still lots of practise needed

Poppet Card...........

Can somebody tell me where today has gone, I think I must have blinked to many times lol. Not sure if I will be on much this weekend so I thought I would get this uploaded and it`s another Poppets card.

5 x 7 white card from The Works
XCut flower punch
Pink gems from stash
ColorBox Cats Eye Ink Pad in Ochre
Sentiment from stash
Template from Stamps Away
Pebeo Volume Touch in Orange

I printed the decoupage sheet and 2 backing sheets and edged with the ColorBox ink,  I then used the template to make the curved edge so it complimented the topper. Stuck these to the card and added the punched flowers and leaves then added the Volume touch and pink gems. I am not sure whether I have added to many flowers to the bottom corner

Ballerina.....

Hello girls here we are Friday again where is the time going!!!!!. I have been playing with the Paintbox Poppets again and have used a design sheet already on the cd. Just print and make :O).

5in Square white card
Paintbox Poppets cd
Lace from stashPearls from stash
XCut flower punch
Bostic Art 3D Metallic Gel pen

I cut the backing sheet and attached to card placed the lace around the topper and foam mounted this onto the card. added the punched flowers and leaves then added the metallic gel to centre and finally added the pearl gems to 3 corners.

Paintbox Poppets and a Surprise.....

HI ladies,  it`s a very warm and sunny day here in Norwich unlike the beginning of the week where is was very grey and chilly. Mick and I had a very busy day yesterday so I was unable to meet with Lindsay and a few other crafty friends in the city for coffee but I have been assured by Lindsay they will be meeting again yeahh :O). My husband surprised me last evening with an early birthday present of  a Kindle as after crafting my next fav thing is reading.
After tea last night I decided it was time to play with the cd and came up with my 1st poppets card, after that I spent some time downloading quite a few books most of them free and only paid 99p for one. :O). Now then onto my card...........

B-C-E template
Blue cardstock from stash

I printed a backing paper onto the centura card then used the template to make a stepper card, I then printed the embellishments and the topper. I layered the topper onto the blue and placed at a jaunty angle added the sentiment also layered onto blue card and added the candy and the embellishment.

Simple Rose Card...

Well here we are again another weekend gone, where does the time go!!!!!!!. The weather has been beautiful here and not a cloud in the sky, it was lovely being able to get the washing out and dried without having to use a tumbledryer. So you know what that means now.... the dreaded ironing tomorrow boohoo. Any hoo thats enough of my waffle, I started this card on Friday evening and managed to finish it yesterday but by the time I wanted to take a photo it was evening  so here we are on Sunday picture finally taken and ready to upload yeahh :O) .

Gems, roses, jump rings, gold peeloff and heart from stash
Gold Mirror card

I cut the topper out and decoupaged then layered onto gold Mirror card and attached to front and added gems, roses and silver heart then placed backing paper to inside of card. I then took 2nd red card and cut out the heart shape and added the BP to the sides and cut out the heart and attached with jump rings  and took the photo before I added gold peeloff around the cut out..DOH.

Thinking of you.......

Hello my friends  :O). Hoping you are all well and enjoying your day. For those of you feeling under the weather... Good wishes coming your way. :O)).   It`s a beautiful day here although the wind is chilly. The blossom is coming out on the trees opposite me and the daffs are blooming. Spring is springing yeahh.
  I should be making bread but I wanted to get this card made so I can get it in the post. My hubbies mum sadly passed away nearly 2 years ago and we like to send his dad a card for the occasion  as he lives in Ireland and we are unable to get over this time.

I layered the pattern paper onto the green card added the ribbon and sentiment, then decoupaged the snowdrops, there should be 6 layers but decided on just 3. Not sure if anything else is needed!!!!!!

Butterfly........

Hello my friends,  It`s very damp and chilly here so I hope it is better for you wherever you are ;o). While I was cleaning my craftroom last week I came across a box with a load of Making Cards magazines which I had completely forgotten about,  I just had to investigate whether I wanted to keep them, well I could not believe that I had not used them earlier and a few I could not even remember looking at DOH. When I came across these craft papers and vellums I just had to use them. The magazine was dated 2008, and the idea for the card came from another MC Mag.

I inked the edges of the bitterfly paper with pink petunia, folded the flower paper to create a frame inked with pixie dust tothe bits that were showing white added card candy,  gems,  and sentiment. Cit the butterfly out 3 times the top one is vellum and hey presto.

Halogen Oven again......

What a week it has been. In between trying to tidy my craftroom and other bits and pieces, I thought it was time to try  my bread and sausage rolls in my new toy, have not bought a loaf of bread now for over a year much prefer my own and it is cheaper and lasts longer. Hope I`m not making your mouth water :O) :O). By the time I got round to taking the picture of the finished bread most of the sausage rolls had disappeared lol, yes you have quessed it my hubby :O).



Should you buy one..........Yes :O)

Granddaughters 18th....

Hi girls where has this week gone, blink and I missed it lol. I have spent most of the week giving my craftroom a clearout as it looked like a hurricane had hit it finally finished it last night so quite pleased with myself when I walked in here this morning so I decided to have a go at making my Granddaughter Ashley`s book card. NOW I need your honest opinion as I am not to sure about it and feel like binning it. I have not added any embellishments as yet. Please be honest with me, you will not hurt my feelings at all. Oh by the way craftroom is back to square one LOL.
