Paint Fusion........

Hello my friends,  hoping you all had a lovely weekend either crafting or out in the sunshine. Well I have been looking forward to receiving the Paint Fusion CD and boy was I pleased with it, Thank you Sheena. I must have spent at least 2 hours looking at everything and trying to decide what to make. In the end I decided to go for the pansies and this card is for my neighbour who is moving away although not to far.
Recipe

Sheena Paint Fusion CD
5" white square card from Hobbycraft
Versa color Canary
Silicone Glue Create & Craft
I printed the backing paper along with the decoupage of the pansies 4 layers.Distressed the edges of the card with the canary as I thought the white was to harsh. Then attached everything to the card. I have yet to make up my mind for the verse inside.

Special Day..

What a beautiful day it is today, hope its the same for you where ever you are :O). I decide to use the free stamps and paper from the Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine again and as I have not done an easel card for a while this is what I came up with :O)....
Recipe

Papers and stamps from magazine above
Template for card shape
Flowers from Lindsay (part of blog candy win) Thank you.
Pearlidoodles

Free Stamps....

Well I have finally managed to get a card done after hubby worked from home yesterday and I could not get into the craft/office room without him being in my way especially when I received Sheena`s Paint Fusion CD and Craft Artist Platinum in the post, I sooo wanted to play with them. I decided that if he was working from home today I was going to put him in the shed lol. Thankfully he went to work. I thought I would have a go at making a card with the free stamps that came in Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine and this is what I came up with. My take on this is Clean and Simple and I am loving this colour at the moment.
Recipe

A6 card
 Stamps from Magazine
Ribbon from stash
Martha Stewart Punch
VersaMagic Ink  Sea Breeze
Embossing folder
Liquid Pearls Baby Blue
Memento Ink Tuxedo Black

I distressed the edges of the card with Sea Breeze then embossed the matting and punched both ends, added the ribbon and attached to card. I cut the shape for image from template and stamped the image and again distressed the edges, added this to card and added liquid pearls down one side, still getting used to getting a straight line :O).

Off the Crafty Track......

Hubby bought me a new toy (Halagon Oven) this weekend and I just love it. My first try this morning was scones.... which were delish. Then in went the chicken and I have to say boy it was scrumptious not dried out at all forgot to take piccie of it so you will all have to trust me LOL, so of course I had to try doing the roast potatoes in it too. I think my main oven could become redundant lol.

He has also bought me the Craft Artist CD`s and Sheena`s Paint Fusion CD.
Looking forward to them coming.

Card and Gift box

Hello..... I was going through all my stamps today trying to decide what card to make and came across this stamp which I have had for about 3-4 years and only ever used it once, so blew the cobwebs off it lol. and this is what I came up with.

Pale Orange card from stash
Heat it Up Embossing Powder- Copper
Promarkers  = Oatmeal, Denim Blue, Peach, Grass, Black, Buttercup

Yellow Rose of.......

mine... ( go on how many of you thought I was going to put Texas lol). This is another one of my photo`s that I have played with again. Right before the card hubby asked what I wanted for my birthday next month so of course I had to say something crafty..... well he has bought me Craft Artist Platinum and the Paint Fusion CD can`t wait until they come :O), he doesn`t normally buy me anything crafty as he reckons I have enough, now where is my list of what I have not got yet............ ok ok I won`t bore you all  it`s way to long anyhow lol.  Now then back to the card which has taken me 2 days to make as I just could not make up my mind how I wanted it to look, still not sure if it is ok. I am sure you will tell me :O)......

Recipe

My Craft Studio More than just Words vol3, Klever Konstruction
Paint Shop Pro X2
Centura Pearl card from Crafters Companion
Hunkydory Diamond Sparkle Gems
Purple card from stash
Yellow card from stash

I printed the design straight onto the pearl card which took me ages to choose. I took the photo into PSP and added a swirl frame and added a shadow effect, this was then layered onto yellow then purple card, as was the sentiment. I made the roses and printed the leaves from MCS then added gems

Crocus time.......

Well it`s Monday again where does the weekend go, boy it`s great not having to go to work. Now it`s get up take your time, have a cuppa then decide how you are going to spend the time lol. Won`t be doing this tomorrow as hubby has his hospital appt so it will be up early to get there by 9, then probably 4-5 hours just waiting around while they do the tests (fingers crossed it`s nothing bad), so I probably won`t be about depending on how the day goes. Now onto the card I had a play at the weekend with a few of my crocus photo`s and here is one that I came up with
Recipe

Paint Shop Pro X2
My  Craft Studio Professional
A6 card from stash
Gems from stash
VersaMagic Pretty Petunia

I took the photo into PSP and put frame around the image. I looked the meaning up for crocus and it came up with the meaning of cheerfulness and gladness and also it was dedicated to St valentine. I also shrunk the image to fit between the sentiment and printed strait onto the card. The backing paper was made in MCS with 2 different shades of purple one placed behind the other then digitally stamped the leaves so the darker colour came through, placed th main image on top and printed. I then distressed the edges with the versamagic and placed topper and gems onto the card.

As you can see I printed everything off onto 2 sheets of super smooth paper then cut all out and layered onto the card

Valentine for hubby

I thought I had better make Mick`s card today as from next week he will be working  near home and of course he will be about in the evenings, this will be very strange for me as for the last 4 years he has been working in London and only home at the weekends. I will probably have to put him in the shed as I have got used to watching the programmes that I like lol. I must admit it will be lovely to have him home especially now. Well here it is....
Recipe

My Craft Studio Papercraft Library vol 4
Centura pearl card
Versa Color ink Royal Blue
Heat it Up embossing powders Blue, Aqua Marine
Ribbon from stash
Dark blue card from stash
Swirl and heart stamps ( had these for a while cannot remember where from)

The image and heart was printed from MCS and also choose a light blue block colour and printed this onto the Centura card then  inked round the edges. I stamped the card with the swirls and hearts and embossed. The sentiment also came from MCS. cut the sentiment backing from plastic templates. stuck all these onto the card and added the ribbon.

Pilkington Lane

Good Morning everybody, hope its not too cold where you are, blue skies and sun shining at present here. I made this card last week after watching Ali from Stamps Away on C & C  and saw a card she made so decided to get my stamps out and this is my interpretation.

Recipe

Pilkington Lane Stamps
Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Mica Powder Gold
Memento Black Ink
Promarkers
Versamark

I stamped the image twice with memento onto tan card then tore round the edges of the large image and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain then used versamark on edges to apply the Mica powder. I then cut the 2nd image to be placed at a point that I choose layered this onto brown card and just coloured small pieces to make it stand out (sorry cannot remember the colours I used). Then layered everything onto the main card and added card candy.

Footnote:-
Just had a call from Mick,     the hospital has been in touch and his appointment is for
14th February at 9.00am so we shall be spending Valentines day at the hospital  they
have also told him to expect to be there for 4-5 hours depending on what they are going to do
